There will be three concurrent sessions:
Introduction to Pumping – All your questions answered
Presented by: Assoc. Professor Alicia Jenkins
This session will cover pump therapy basics, advantages, disadvantages, costs, different pumps and real life ‘pumpers’ to answer all of your questions.
Advanced Pumping for adults
Presented by: Cheryl Steel, Credentialled Diabetes Educator
Cheryl will discuss pump features, difficult foods and eating out, the latest in continuous blood glucose monitoring and more. Due to space restrictions in this session no guest places are available.
Advanced Pumping for children and adolescents
Presented by: Rebecca Gebert, Credentialled Diabetes Educator
Rebecca will provide information specifically for children and teenagers, including how to get the most out of your pump, difficult foods, eating out, going to parties and more.
Due to space restrictions this session will be for the child and one parent or guardian. Parents may attend without their child.
