Develop a Workplace Giving Program
A Workplace Giving Program is a convenient way for employees to make a valuable contribution to the work we do. Employees can nominate an amount to donate from each pay before tax, which the employer then forwards on their behalf to us, resulting in a tax benefit for the employee. And, ask your organisation if they will gift match their employee’s donations, effectively doubling the donation to us.

Donate in memory of a loved one
Family and friends of the deceased who make a Remembrance Gift will receive a personal acknowledgement. We also inform the next of kin of your donation, however the amount of your donation will remain confidential. Donors can elect diabetes education or research and may remain anonymous if they wish. Donation envelopes can be arranged through the Funeral Director or by contacting us on 1300 136 588 or via email.

A donation in lieu of a gift is a great way to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, graduation, wedding or special occasion and contributes to diabetes education and research. Consider asking your family and friends to donate to Diabetes Australia – Vic in lieu of your next celebration. It is a great way to recognise this special occasion and show support for a loved one affected by diabetes.
