Your support is making a difference!

Research is vitally important for all people with diabetes, those at risk and future generations. Our mid-year appeal is raising funds to support research through the Diabetes Australia Research Trust (DART).

Thank you to everyone who has contributed - we’re raised a landmark $180,000 and it’s not over yet! The generous response of our donors supports DA–Vic to contribute $1 million to research this year. Your generosity ensures that more researchers in Victoria are supported to find new solutions for diabetes management, prevention and ultimately, a cure.

Last year only 10% of the projects that applied for DART grants were able to be funded. This year on World Diabetes Day in November we hope to support many more researchers to explore new possibilities for the treatment and prevention of diabetes. The contributions of our members and supporters are helping us achieve this aim.

Diabetes Australia – Vic is deeply committed to supporting research into diabetes and has been for many years. Without our valued supporters, our contribution could not be so significant.
