This year we increased our financial support to diabetes research with Diabetes Australia – Vic contributing $800,000 to the Diabetes Australia Research Trust (DART), the largest per capita contribution of all state member organisations.
Fundraising income is generated from direct mail appeals, major gifts, bequests, special events, sponsorship, workplace giving programs and trusts and foundations. In the 2008/2009 financial year income was in excess of $1.4 million.
