The new campaign Take steps for diabetes promotes all forms of walking as a cheap and easy way to help prevent the development of type 2 diabetes and increase awareness that physical inactivity is an independent risk factor for type 2 diabetes.
The campaign is aimed at all Victorian adults (18+) who are physically inactive, those who do no exercise, and those who do a little exercise but not enough.
