Presenter: Dr Jessica Browne, Research Fellow, The Australian Centre for Behavioural Research in Diabetes.
Diabetes MILES – Australia was a national survey of adults with diabetes that focused on the psychological, social and behavioural aspects of living with the condition. The study was the first of its kind in Australia.
Jessica will discuss the early results of the survey, which highlight some of the unmet needs of people living with diabetes in Australia, as well as important implications for policy and practice.
This event has been made possible due to a generous grant from the Marian and EH Flack Trust.
