Eltham resident Mrs McKinnon has been donating to Diabetes Australia – Vic for the past ten years
“Twice a year I have a big clean out, it is very healthy and makes me feel great! it feels good to pass on things we don’t use anymore. I prefer to give clothes to a charity than to throw them out. That way they can be reused and it is not added to tips and landfills.”
Ascot Vale resident Mr Reynolds has been donating to Diabetes Australia – Vic since his last garage sale failure
“I thought what a good idea to have a garage sale, make some money and get rid of household items I didn’t want. Well it rained all day and it seemed I was left with more than I started with and really couldn’t be bothered putting it all back, so I got on the Diabetes website, booked a free pick up for the following week and when I got home from work it was all gone!”
