Diabetes Australia – Vic runs a number of exciting fundraising events each year to help raise vital funds for our diabetes awareness, education, research and advocacy programs. You can get involved in these events as a volunteer, through your workplace or by supporting other participants.


Organise your own Community Fundraising Event

At Diabetes Australia – Vic, we offer you the opportunity to organise your own fundraising event. This is a rewarding experience where you can team up with friends and family to raise money within the community for a worthwhile cause.

Community fundraising is a great way to show your support for a friend or family member who may have diabetes.

Please contact our Community Fundraising Officer before organising your event, so that you can receive the documents and guidelines necessary for holding your own fundraising event.

If you have already planned an event you can set up a community fundraising page online. Once you create your own fundraising page you can send your unique link to friends, family and colleagues inviting donations online. Each donation is recorded on your page along with any message of support from your donors. So start fundraising today!
