Vietnamese Type 2 Diabetes Peer Support Program – Brimbank

Supported by the Brimbank Council’s Community Grants, we are proud to deliver this free, 12-month program tailored specifically for Vietnamese-speaking residents navigating type 2 diabetes.

What to Expect

Across five sessions led by a Vietnamese Diabetes Nurse Educator, will be joined by a Dietitian for a specialised session focusing on culturally relevant nutrition and practical, healthy eating strategies.

  • Genuine Peer Suppport: Exchange personal insights and build lasting networks with community members walking a similar path.
  • Clinical Expertise: Access reliable, straightforward advice from Vietnamese-speaking medical professionals.
  • Practical Skills: Walk away from each session with practical techniques for daily health management.
