Our expert diabetes health professionals offer personalised, evidence-based care that will help you develop a diabetes management plan that suits your lifestyle, helps you stay healthy, supports you to prevent diabetes-related complications and manage your risk of developing type 2 diabetes.  
 


Our Diabetes Educators and Dietitians are specialised in diabetes and have many years of experience supporting the diabetes community with Diabetes Victoria. 

They are passionate about helping people self-manage their diabetes. They understand that the best way to support people is to provide timely, relevant and useful information to reduce the risk of complications and ensure everyone has the tools to stay healthy.

We can help with all aspects of diabetes management and care, including:

 medication
 technology and devices
 carbohydrate counting
 healthy eating 


One-on-one appointments (including video calls) are available for adults with:

 type 1 diabetes 
 type 2 diabetes 
 MODY (Maturity Onset of Diabetes of the Young)
 LADA (Latent Autoimmune Diabetes in Adults)
 diabetes resulting from injury to or removal of the pancreas
 GDM (Gestational Diabetes Mellitus)
 as well as adults at high risk of type 2 diabetes.
