Diabetes Victoria not affected by data breach
Diabetes Victoria was not among the Australian charities affected by a data breach in April, and our donor information has not been compromised.
Donor information from at least three Australian charities was leaked on the dark web when Pareto Phone, a Brisbane-based telemarketing company, was hacked by cybercriminals in April.
Diabetes Victoria has not shared data with Pareto Phone and our donor information is not at risk.
We want to reassure our donors their information is safe and there is no reason for concern, despite recent media coverage about the potential risk of further data leaks.
