NMX Exercise Study
Who can take part?
You may be eligible to participate if you are:
- Aged 18 years or older
- Have been living with type 1 diabetes for at least 1 year
- Have an HbA1c less than 10%
- Currently on the Medtronic MiniMed™ 780G insulin pump, and have been for at least 3 months
What does participation involve?
This study requires your participation for up to 6 months and includes:
- At least 10 clinic visits at the clinical site, including 8 supervised exercise sessions
- Additional remote activities from home
During the study, you will need to take part in supervised exercise sessions, provide blood samples, receive health and diabetes assessments, use diabetes technology devices and upload data from home, apply glucose sensors and complete preparation activities at home all with regular remote support.
Reimbursement
There are no additional costs to you as a participant in the study.
You will be reimbursed a maximum of $900 in total if you complete all study activities.
