Diabetes Prevention Trials

The aim of this study is to improve the reach and engagement of women who have had gestational diabetes with programs and interventions designed to reduce the risk of cardiometabolic diseases such as type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

People found to be at high risk of developing type 1 diabetes are monitored closely and referred to their nearest diabetes centre for education, support and access to current clinical trials and other research that aims to prevent type 1 diabetes.
