Colouring Competition – Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions
- The Promoter is Diabetes Victoria (ABN 71 005 239 510) whose address is Suite G01, 15-31 Pelham Street Carlton VIC 3053
- Entry into the competition will be deemed as acceptance of these terms and conditions.
- Entries must comply with these terms and conditions to be valid.
- Entry is open to Victorian residents only. Anyone connected in any way with helping to set up the competition shall not be permitted to win the competition, including employees of Diabetes Victoria or their family members.
- The competition begins at 5am AEST Thursday 11th September 2025 and closes for entry at 5am AEST Monday 13th October 2025. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be accepted.
- The Promoter will not accept responsibility for entries not received for whatever reason.
- The rules of the competition are as follows:
a. Entries are completed by submitting the provided design or a freely drawn original design to Diabetes Victoria via the online form. When uploading your image, please ensure your image file is of a high-resolution.
b. Competition entries will also be accepted by scanning the drawing and emailing to fundraising@diabetesvic.org.au or camps@diabetesvic.org.au
c. Competition entries will not be accepted by any other means.
d. Competition entries are to be completed by a parent or guardian aged 18+ years.
e. To be valid, the entry must include an original design completed by a child aged 17 years or younger.
f. There is (1) possible winner of the competition.
g. The winner will have their design chosen to be printed on a Diabetes Victoria ‘Thank you’ card.
- The winning drawing will be announced publicly with the child’s first name, age and diabetes type. The winning child’s first name, age and diabetes type will also be published on the back of the card design.
- The winner will be chosen from a team of staff members appointed by Diabetes Victoria on Tuesday the 14th October. The winner will be chosen based on the quality and creativity of the design
- The parent/guardian who submits the winning entry will be contacted by Monday 20th October 2025 via email and/or phone.
- Diabetes Victoria will obtain verbal permission to display the child’s first name, age and diabetes type in the competition announcement.
- If we are unable to contact the winner within 3 days, a new winner will be chosen.
- The winning drawing will be used in a design or designs produced and owned by Diabetes Victoria. You agree and consent for your child’s design to be used in Diabetes Victoria’s designs
- The winner will receive a $50 Prezzee Smart eGift Card via email using www.prezzee.com.au
- You agree and acknowledge you are not eligible for any financial compensation for your design.
- The Promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice. Any changes to the competition will be notified to contestants as soon as reasonably possible by the Promoter.
- The Promoter is not responsible for inaccurate competition details supplied to any contestant by any third party connected with this competition.
- Contestants can opt-out from entering the competition by not submitting any drawing/s to Diabetes Victoria.
- Diabetes Victoria shall not be liable for any loss, damage or injury suffered by any winner, or anyone else entering the competition, as a result of their participation in the competition.
- The Promoter’s decision in respect of all matters to do with the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
- The information provided will be used in conjunction with Diabetes Victoria’s Privacy Policy found at: diabetesvic.org.au/privacy-policy.
- The competition and these terms and conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Victoria and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
