Type 1 diabetes and diagnostic experiences
Study Overview
Some people with type 1 diabetes test negative for the antibodies typically used to confirm the diagnosis. This can lead to delays, misdiagnosis, and uncertainty.
Researchers at St Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney want to understand the diagnostic experiences of people with autoantibody-negative type 1 diabetes to help improve understanding and care.
By sharing your experiences, you can help improve clinician awareness of this under-recognised form of type 1 diabetes and support better, more patient-centred care for others in future.
