Diabetes Camps Victoria Expression Of Interest

Thank you for your interest in joining the Diabetes Camps Victoria community.

There are multiple camps available throughout the year and we would like to invite you to express your interest in coming along.

Limited Spaces Apply

It’s important to know that there are limited spaces to these specialised camps.

If your child is not successful in a first round offer, they will be placed on our waitlist. Often, for various reasons, children pull out of camp in the weeks leading up to camp and sometimes at the very last minute. If this does occur prior to camp, we will be in contact with you immediately to see whether your child may still be able to attend.

We do understand how much each child living with type 1 diabetes would benefit from their experience on camp.

We encourage you to return your Expression of Interest form each year.

Volunteer at diabetes camps

As Diabetes Camps Victoria run throughout the entire year, recruitment for camp volunteers occurs at different times for each respective camp.

If you have submitted an expression of interest form, you will be contacted within one month of expressing interest.

As we receive many applications for limited places on camp, it may not be possible to offer you a place for the most upcoming camp but we may add you to a waitlist for future camps later in the year.

Camps run the most efficiently when there is a team of experienced and new volunteers. Because of this, some volunteer places are offered to experienced volunteers and some volunteer places are offered to new applicants for each camp.
